Lush Rosie Gift Box

Image
After my boyfriend commenting on the Lush 'Rosie' Gift  Box pretty much every time we went into Lush (ok, me dragging him to lush (whatever)), and after every single discussion ending in, I ’ m definitely going to buy that box. I got it for my birthday way back in March. I know that we are well past march now but I still really wanted to give an insight into the box for you guys. First off the wrapping paper is to die for, I love it. I also love the Rosie tag on it, although I do believe the font of the Rosie has been changed. But I am pretty happy with what I got inside the box. The fact that I absolutely love the Rose Jam Bubbleroon and The Rose Jam shower Gel meant that this would be a winner for me. Rose Jam Bubbleroon I love this product, partly because of the smell, partly because it crumbles so well into the bath - Don't you find with some Lush bubble bars are a little on the hard side - I’m not sure if this has something to do with using

Space mask Review*

Image
You know when you spot something on the old social media, and you just think, what is that. Well I got this feeling with Space masks* the brand had been floating around on my Instagram for a little while, they kindly offered if I would like to try a Space mask. I obviously jumped at the chance. I did wait nearly a week before I could use it, this was because I wanted to test Space masks out on a Sunday when I’m most likely to be tossing and turning about the week ahead. Basically Space masks are an eye mask that are meant to help to relax and soothe you into calm state. I suppose this depends on how stressed you are, I mean some people may use it for 15 minutes and just feel relaxed, others (i.e. me) fall straight asleep and wake up 8 hours later with dribble marks down their chin, wondering if they have missed the Monday morning alarm. The great thing about this mask is that they are heated; the iron inside the mask reacts with the oxygen in air, which slowly heats up

Bluebelle and Co After Hours

Image
I was very lucky to be invited to a Blog Event by the lovely Katie from KatieKirkLoves . After getting slighlty lost on my way out of Brighton Train Station in the wind and the rain I finally found Bluebelle and Co. Bluebelle and Co is owed by a lady called Kate Powell who also owns the brand House of Disaster . But the Store Manager Lauren was on hand for the evening. Bluebelle and Co is one of those shops that is literally a treasure trove of pretty little trinkets, lovely mugs, throws that you would quite happily swap an arm and a leg for. It's the kind of store which adds to the individuality of the Laines in Brighton.  There a lot of home ware, accessories, nightwear and adorable children’s clothing (that I kind of wanted to buy even though I do not have a child). Bluebelle and Co have some of the dreamiest Visual Merchandising - I mean, there's a 4 poster bed in the shop (I am so annoyed that I didn't get a full shot of the bed), if that doesn’t swa

Coffee Table Books You Need In Your Life.

Image
The coffee table book; a book designed for light reading and accompanied with a hella' lot of pictures.  My favourite type of book. I like books that you can dip in and out of and not have to read back to front, and it occurred to me the other day that I have a lot of coffee table books. So I thought I would do a review on some of my favourites. Paris in Bloom - Georgianna Lane This caught my eye in Waterstones, I wouldn’t be able to tell you what I was initially looking at but I was drawn to this. I will admit, I haven’t even read a word of this book, but the pictures in it are just, beautiful, so many gorgeous flowers. If stuck for inspiration this is the go to book to get that spring back into your photography foot.  The little book of Hygge - Meik Wiking Erm come on; fun facts about how much confectionary the Danish eat and comparing that to yourself?! What’s not to like? This probably my most 'text heavy' book in my coffee table collect. Bu
