Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara, Elle Magazine.

Image
Hi There! Right okay, like many others this week, I was waiting for Elle magazine to hit the shelves. Why?! Because Benefit have only gone and released an exclusive sample of their new mascara; Roller Lash to all Elle readers! I'm not going to lie here, my heart did race a little, when the thought of all Elle magazines being out of stock, by the time I got the super market. But trusty Asda had loads. Panic over.  Roller Lash Now the actual release of this mascara isn't until the end of February (27th of February I believe) so I'm sure come 4 weeks time the beauty world is going to go mental.  Roller Lash What the product claims to do? 'Super- Curling and Lifting Mascara. Which will leave your eyelash curlers redundant' Roller Lash - no curlers used. What I thought of the product?! I do love this mascara. If you're sat at home reading multiple posts on the 'Elle -Benefit release', then believ...

January Favourites

Image
I've been back in the blogging world for a couple of weeks, and now I don't even know what to blog about! So with many things, I'm going to take 'baby steps' to get back into posts. Hence doing a January post, I love doing these kinds of posts to end the month off. So my January Favourites this month include; Naked Basic 2 My Urban decay Basics 2, I honestly do not know where I would be with out this! I thought I loved my Naked 3 palette more, but now I think my basics is taking home the bacon. It may be a seasonal thing, who knows? The Naked 3 may be back come spring time. Topshop Coat My gorgeous topshop coat, I got this in the sale. I had, had my eye on it for ages! Its so blooming warm, and the pockets are so deep, half your arm fits in (okay exaggeration - it fits my hand and my wrist in but thats still quite a lot!) - perfect for some who hates the winter months. i.e. Me. Polaroid Flash Ring Polaroid Flash Ring, this is so ha...

Mac Lipstick Syrup

Image
Hello ! So today I have a mac lipstick on here, its not really a review of it or a first impressions thing. I would just say its a chat about a Mac lipstick.   Last week I went shopping and picked up some bits and bobs, if you want to see the full haul just click here! Anyway I got a lipstick in shade Syrup. Now. I don't know why I bought it because in the shop I just kind of thought well, its quite nice. I wasn't blown away by it, yet I still bought it.  Anyway Im so glad I bought this little gem because I bloody well love the thing! As its from the Lustre line it isn't really designed to last long like the mattes but, it just gives a lovely colour pay off and is perfect for when you want that extra something. Its a mauve-y kind of colour, but not too purple. I use my lip pencil in Beurre to line and fill my lips then apply syrup for a night out! So maybe this was a review I don't really know but hey, I've enjoyed myself. See you in a week!  ...

Shopping Haul ft Lush, Mac and Topshop

Image
Afternoon, as said in my previous post... I'm back!  Today I thought I'd do a bit of a shopping haul post because, well, I went shopping on the weekend!  Right first up are these gorgeous Topshop shoes, these were in the sale at £15 down from £30. I had seen them at full price a couple of months back but couldn't justify spending the money on them... But now they are all mine!  Next up is a book called 'It's Not How Good You Are It's How Good You Want To Be.' By Paul Arden (my my! That was a long title) this was from urban outfitters, it's kind of the only reason I go into urban outfitters to look at their books. Anyway this is basically a bit of a pick me up book, because sometimes you need it.  Whenever a Brighton shopping trip happens visiting Mac Brighton is a must! As you can see I went a bit Mac happy, but it's all worth it. With the boyfriend and I being on a tight budget over christmas we set a limit at £20. So with this £20 I put it towards ...

I'M BACK

Image
Hello Everyone, long time no see! Some of you may have noticed my lack of blogging in recent months, work and life sometimes gets in the way. In those recent months I have really missed blogging and being part of the blogger community, so I'm back, somewhat of a part-timer... but hey at least I'm trying guys! My aim for this year is to just post once a week, as blogging really does take over your life sometimes!  When I finally get internet at my new place I shall be blogging (wahoo!). I am hoping to be carrying on with beauty but I may add in the occasional fashion or lifestyle post, and of course wish lists, because this is what I spend half my life doing - wishing for lots of lovely things. One day my bank balance will stretch to all the things I want (yes fully aware my head is in the clouds right now!). So for now hold tight, I will be back soon. But in the mean time why not check out my Instagram ( OhhsoRosie ), where I'm focusing on upping my photo...

No7 Pop and Glow

Image
I have been intrigued by these products since the word go, and I knew it was only a matter of time that I would find myself at the boots counter. In fact I ended up in town at 3 o'clock on a sunday afternoon to get these. There was a Radiance Highligher, bronzer and four blushers. I decided to get the highlighter and the new blusher shade watermelon. Mainly because there was a buy one get one half price on which I quite liked the look of.  So the blusher... I love the shade, its a lovely raspberry colour, and is easy to apply, its very bright so only a small amount is needed, I use my fingers to blend it in or a duo fibre brush.  I love the packaging, as its kind of like a large lipstick and i find its far more interesting than a normal blusher pallet. The last- ability of this is extremely good and I enjoy wearing it. I think although this is really bright it does blend into a  natural look.  The Radiance Highligher, now at first I wasn't to ...

Mac Fluidline Brow Gelcreme

Image
Ive been after a Brow Gel Creme for a while. Sadly Illamasqua only has one shade which I think may be too dark for me. As much as I want an Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade product, it seems like hassle and I can't view the product in the flesh etc. So I landed in Mac... by the brow products. Wondering what to buy and what shade to get. In the end the sales assistant kind of just told me to buy dirty blonde. Which I did.  Mac Fluidline Brow Gelcreme  Now the actual product is a dream. Like I love it. More than cake and sweets. It stays put all day and really easy to apply. Even if you are new to making your brows look as big and defined as possible I would say its great for newbies. I used a fine angled brush, and a thicker one to blend the product out. But that is just my personal preference. Its build-able so if you want to create ombre brows and a more defined arch its up to the job. A little of this product goes a long way though which is always a bo...
