Mac Stone Lipstick Review

Image
Unless you've been living under rock for the last 6 months you will know that some of the Mac lip pencils came out as actual lipsticks. Mac also released new matte shades along with the pencil to lipstick shades. But Stone and Whirl were a massive sell out... I finally got my hands on Mac Stone at the beginning of the month, after a few months of going round mac stores hopefully asking the girls if they had been restocked. The shade of this lipstick is beautiful grey, taupe colour I would possible say its kind of mushroom shade... if that makes sense? With Stone being a matte finish I can't honestly say it doesn't dry my lips out because it does a little, not drastically though. I have found that this shade doesn't last as well as some of my other matte lipsticks. I have a sneaky suspicion that because it isn't a natural shade or red colour it will appear to wear off a little quicker than other more tame shades. If you're unsure of taking the plung

Birchbox X Skinnydip London

Image
Another month, another Birchbox. This month Birchbox teamed up with Skinnydip London, a rather cool fashion accessory brand. A cute sea shell themed box arrived at my door last week and if I paid an extra £4 I would have received a Skinnydip London case. I do tend to keep my Instagram separate to my blog just as very little traffic comes from my Instagram but I thought I would do a blog post on what I post and who I love to follow on Instagram. Having studied theatrical makeup uni, Instagram is the perfect place to show off any fancy/creative makeup I've decided to post. I find putting my makeup on Instagram is the easiest way to get my work out there! Aside from this I post any beauty products I love, and when I'm feeling good about an outfit I'll pop that on there too! I don't tend to put much personal stuff on there purely because I'm quite a private person!  I can't say I have a themed account as I just can't stick to one thing! I love fashion, beauty and creativity to much to ditch half of them! However if you want to boost your followers I would advi
