Oh So Rosie!

I love being a little different and straying outside the box when it comes to fashion, I thoroughly enjoy finding unique pieces and when Jord Watches* offered to collaborate with me I took up the chance immediately, because let face it wooden watches, definitely stray out of the box.  I Jord kindly sent through a unique  watch of my choice which you can check out here and I really love the grey and bronze tones in it.  I like how this watch is quite a statement piece but is also blends in well with whatever I’m wearing. Whilst this is definitely not what I would call a feminine piece it does, however, make you feel like you’re on top of the world. After my boyfriend commenting on the Lush 'Rosie' Gift  Box pretty much every time we went into Lush (ok, me dragging him to lush (whatever)), and after every single discussion ending in, I ’ m definitely going to buy that box. I got it for my birthday way back in March. I know that we are well past march now but I still really wanted to give an insight into the box for you guys. First off the wrapping paper is to die for, I love it. I also love the Rosie tag on it, although I do believe the font of the Rosie has been changed. But I am pretty happy with what I got inside the box. The fact that I absolutely love the Rose Jam Bubbleroon and The Rose Jam shower Gel meant that this would be a winner for me. You know when you spot something on the old social media, and you just think, what is that. Well I got this feeling with Space masks* the brand had been floating around on my Instagram for a little while, they kindly offered if I would like to try a Space mask. I obviously jumped at the chance. I did wait nearly a week before I could use it, this was because I wanted to test Space masks out on a Sunday when I’m most likely to be tossing and turning about the week ahead. Basically Space masks are an eye mask that are meant to help to relax and soothe you into calm state. I suppose this depends on how stressed you are, I mean some people may use it for 15 minutes and just feel relaxed, others (i.e. me) fall straight asleep and wake up 8 hours later with dribble marks down their chin, wondering if they have missed the Monday morning alarm. The great thing about this mask is that they are heated; the iron inside the mask reacts with the oxygen in air, which slowly heats up...

I was very lucky to be invited to a Blog Event by the lovely Katie from KatieKirkLoves . After getting slighlty lost on my way out of Brighton Train Station in the wind and the rain I finally found Bluebelle and Co. Bluebelle and Co is owed by a lady called Kate Powell who also owns the brand House of Disaster . But the Store Manager Lauren was on hand for the evening. Bluebelle and Co is one of those shops that is literally a treasure trove of pretty little trinkets, lovely mugs, throws that you would quite happily swap an arm and a leg for. It's the kind of store which adds to the individuality of the Laines in Brighton.  There a lot of home ware, accessories, nightwear and adorable children’s clothing (that I kind of wanted to buy even though I do not have a child).
