Backcomb in a Bottle

I am a lover of all Umberto Giannini. However I have seen mixed reviews about this particular product. So with my curiosity killed the cat head on I went and bought a mini - figuring that I could use it up and  if I didn't like it, it was no biggie as I wouldn't have a half a can of unused product left to sit and collect dust on my shelf. But any whoo...



What it claims to do
- The instant texture and volume of backcombed hair... unbelievable. Spray from approx 6 inches to where you want back comb effect and jujj hair into shape as you go


Now I just do know what to say about this product. It sort of does the job, but I guess its a half hearted attempt,  Maybe its my lack of hair (it is rather thin) or maybe I was just expecting to much from this product, I just don't feel like my hair has much 'backcomb' to it, and obviously not much extra volume.   It also seems to fall flat after well about half an hour.

Ive tried using a little, I've tried used a lot, Ive tried backcombing then spraying and spraying and then back combing, unfortunately for me I don't think I will re-buy this product as it just doesn't work for my hair, which is annoying as I had high hopes for this. Maybe next time I need to lower my expectations.

Don't let this review put you off because it may just be my hair type and this could work wonders on thicker hair. I d however love the packaging and illustrations on the bottle!

Holiday look books. Do people even like these? For those of you who dont know I took a late holiday to Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt to catch some rays! MOTD and products used.

Hi Everyone I thought Id do a Make up of the day, and show you some of the products I use on a regular and not so regular basis. I'm also going to rate the products out of 10. Close up of eyes and contouring So these are majority of products used (bar brushes and one of my broken blushers) sorry for rubbish photo iPhones ay?  These 3 are my go to products for eyes. Products - Skin Based Illamasqua Hydravei l (black pot image below) Its in lots of my posts and it just helps hydrate and set the skin up for makeup. I love it, and I do get compliments when I wear it so it must be good. 10/10 Maybelline Baby Skin - Instant pore eraser? hmm I didn't hold out much hope for this product as I didn't really like the Baby Lips Maybelline bought out a while back. I actually think this product is pretty good and you get quite a bit for the money you pay. I think it does help smooth skin ready for foundation. 6/10 Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum - its

M&S Autograph Gel Eyeliner

As I'm sure you're all aware gel eyeliner has been sat on all the aisles of drug stores for a few years now, some people love it, while others just don't get along with it. I personally love it... sometimes, I have a habit of not putting the lid back on the bloody things, which leads to them drying out and being completely useless and I've tried the youtube tricks to get my gel liners back to their original gel state and it just doesn't turn out the same as before. I've tried Revlon (meh) and Maybelline (okay), and faced up to the fact that I'm not at all responsible for a higher end gel liner like Mac or Bobbi Brown as I'd just forget to put the lid back on thus ruining them forever! However on one occasion I got bored of my mum looking at the home wear section in M&S and took myself off to their make up stand, and what did I come across? Autographs Ultimate Wear Gel eyeliner. I thought I'm in need of a new Eyeliner why not try this?!
